League Rules and Regulations

1. Challenging

1.1 The League will not tell you whom you face each battle. Instead we thrive upon challenges. Any team may at any time challenge another team. The maximum number of battles any team can fight in a two-week-cycle is five. A team may decline four out of five challenges in a cycle. This means that every team participating must fight at least once every two weeks. Each team may choose one cycle when they do not fight.

1.2 The challenged team may pick the map and the first faction. A team cannot choose the same map until they've chosen at least two other maps. They may however play the map if they challenge a team that chooses it.

1.3 If a team does not show up after 20 minutes the other team will win by default.

1.4 The teams themselves decide upon a date, time and what server to play on.

2. During the game

2.1 Allchat is prohibited.

2.1.1 Allchat is permitted to cooridnate the start, only team leaders may use it.

2.2 Glitching into objects is not permitted.

2.3 Using any kind of cheat is not permitted.

2.3 Teamkilling to get extra kits is not permitted.

3. After the game

3.1 Each team must provide screenshots of the player PB_GUIDs (open console and type "pb_list"), the scoreboard and the ticket count.

3.2 The server provider will provide the Management with demofiles in case anything is disputed.

3.3 The teams have two days to file complaints. They will themselves be provided with serverfiles and need to present evidence themselves. The Management will then deliver a judgement.

3.4 Match results may be changed if a team has been proven guilty of any offenses.

4. Team requirements

4.1 Each team must provide the Management with a full roster including names and GUIDs.

4.2 Each team can have a maximum of 22 participants.

4.3 Each team is not limited to clans. Clans can, and are encouraged, to bound together to get more players for continous 12v12.

4.4 No-one that is not in PRTA may enter this League test. People within PRTA that are not affiliated with clans may enter a team if they wish and are accepted into the team.

4.5 You cannot switch to another team during the League. If you are removed or resigning, you must wait until the next season to enter a new team.

5. Servers

5.1 The server must run the League configuration.

5.2 The difference in ping may not exceed 100ms. Teams with a 200ms+ ping may request another server. If no other server is available the match will be postponed.

5.3 The server must stream GGC and/or other databases to ensure no hacks are used.

I don't suck at infantry either. But there's a reason why I left vBF2 and joined Project Reality.

I know you're just trolling ;)
But my point is; playing PR is (in my opinion) about a large amount of players, large maps, vehicles, etc.

So there is no intrests in skirmish League? Or is that still viable?

:S

I just think smaller clans doesnt have the ability to field that large teams.

Yes, but the problem is, I don't know how much fun PR is in Skirmish mode on the long run. It's usually just a server filler mode... I wouldn't want to spend time training and preparing matches specifically for a game mode that isn't really that interesting.

But I'm not in a PR clan, so don't listen to me. :p

I think you'd have more success if it was more "open" to the pubbies, a clan league wouldn't work to well since a lot of people arn't in a clan, also clans can arrange battles for themselves in a competative manner, clans should still be able to join but not to the size that they can be a whole team.

But then again, if it was open for pubbies, it wouldn't have been a "clan league".

I think this is good idea. For example there are tons of clans with which our clan havent played yet. And it could be interesting if we will have organization team which arrange the battles.

for killonsight95:
for pubbies it could be harder. For example play country vs country. And i think lots of clans will fill it anyway. Clans have some structure. And they can more effectively decide if play or not. So when pubbies start thinking about play, team is full. Clan vs Clan is better choice and second effect could be that its good opportunity for pubbies to find clan. Join and have better fun.

Don't sit tight, scrap it all as quickly as possible...

I am sure that if I had the time, CIA would love to organize into a little assault force.

There are so many possibilities with a 12v12 map, 3 squads of 4, 2 squads of 6, 2 squads of 5 and 1 of 2.

So many delicious opportunities destroy people. OOOH, and If I had time I could edit some maps so we can exploit different parts of our awesome maps.
