Korengal is Impossible

Insurgents can cause cave-ins making caches impossible to get to, the terrain is RIDICULOUS and almost impossible to navigate for USMC, the entire map is ridiculously unbalanced towards insurgents. The main is always getting spammed, and sometimes caches spawn RIGHT UNDERNEATH IT. I want there to be another US main (not in the middle of the map) on high ground that's really hard for the enemy to get at, and the US needs choppers. Preferably 2 transport little birds.

Back when it was a single LB, the map was far more palatable in my opinion, *despite* that there was no rearming pad so you only had 30 flares and that was it. I realize for sound bug concerns and whatnot the map didn't accomodate the choppers particularly well, but the view distance has been upped to 700 these days, which is more than Jabal and 33% higher than the albasrah chopper version's VD. The lack of fobability and limited paths of traversal make it a nightmare for the majority of games... and having the chopper(s) would seeeeriously mitigate that issue, while maintaining a level of balance because the choppers would be without crates, so 5 guys @ a time maximum being inserted (or 6 if they drop a rally on arrival).

No.Map not unbalanced.
In other hand that map realistic map ever in mod.Because like other maps if Taliban and insurgents fight in open grounds they will already defeated.10 years and Taliban still there as well as insurgents too.
So pls not think only bluefor side. You have 1 map like this but all other insurgency maps are %60 open grounds anyone has right to say a map unbalanced its pll who play as insurgency side in other maps than this.

Rare though admittedly, on most servers squads are split between three different objectives....
There is one (CAS NPK clan run) Huey
You're thinking of
Lashkar, not
Korengal.
I honestly agree that the map is plagued with issues. When Camp Murphy was the main in the bottom right of the valley, the US actually had a chance to get supplies around the valley. Now that there is a
single supply truck, its often instantly killed before it gets out of main, making logistics practically impossible the entire round.
Its spammy, unrealistically small, and hell for US with little chance of destroying caches, even when they are stupidly placed
underneath the US main in a cave.

I guess you're talking about the Korengal round that you had like 12 or more hours ago in NwA, than I must say that If Taliban aren't smart, It's really easy for US to destroy their caches. You got our first 4 caches, because they were in bad positions and our team wasn't coordinated (noone on SL mumble). Also I hadn't made a squad yet.
But when me and my squad "caved in" the known cache in NE corner of map (yes, we destroyed those rocks so mechanised infantry wouldn't just roll in, jump out, kill everyone and find the cache) and my team started to communicate a bit, we made one of the best cache defenses I've seen in last months. It was your teams fault that you didn't stop attacking this "impossible" defense, but instead focus on the second known that was south of US army base.
Btw, the hideout I placed in M1kp2 totally saved our asses one time. It can be built it in a cave where noone would probably look for the cache, because of the building complex next to it.
It was approx. like this:
EDIT:
But, yeah, I agree that there are some problems with this map. First, I don't like that the BLUFOR main is in the middle. It makes everything more spammy. Taliban instinctively are crawling towards BLUFOR main because it's in the middle of the friggin map! Another thing - mountain terrain. I hadn't seen a more "alien-like" terrain. It's like a crater witch has suffered all it's life from constant meteor showers - you have to jump every meter to get somewhere while hiking in those mountains.

One thing I dont get about this map, every 5-10 mins you hear a jet fly over but yet Americans dont get an area attack? What are those jets doing carrying fuel not bombs. Atleast give the americans the ability to call in gun runs or something from those jets once and a while.

IIRC the US did use a lot of bombs and stuff in Korengal, more than any other place.

Its the players' fault for attacking a cache which is practically impenetrable?

It's possible.
Have 3 squads rush in. All have mumble.

Unfortunately it would require rather alot of work for a chopper to be avaliable
its a !k map and looks pretty shit from the air - though from the ground it looks awesome
I'm not sure what to do with it with the new main base location

Chopper wouldn't fit korengal :l
Caves are difficult, but you need teamwork. 9 times out of 10 you see blufor going in with 2-3 people at once. If you smoke, nade in deep (203's work very well), and position claymores, you can get them. It's not too too difficult to do.
However, you can see a lot of PKM camping

Map is puny! Where would you LAND? xD There's a few openings, and both sides of the valley could shoot down on you. Oh it would be a massacre.
And whoever said anything about littlebirds, go play COD or wait until PMC is released

Where would you land? Seriously? There's a myriad of places... particularly for the far south/north insertions that are an absolute nightmare for the US currently.
Oh and as for the COD comment...

yes it would be ugly as hell, but no, saying it would be impossible to land is beyond me. Many roads, fields, dried river beds, crate dropping opportunities, etc.
In my opinion an apache or kiowa would be brilliant for the map, but thats mostly becuase I love CAS and scouting. However, a more popular opinion that i agree with is that yes, a blackhawk could certainly be used to reasonable effectiveness in the map, if you can get over how ugly it would appear.

move very quickly and often, when stationary set up your perimeters, constantly tell your squad to 'get their eye in'
when a cache comes up get another squad to provide suppresive fire whilst you flank them around their rear, job done (usually)
hunt for unkowns always, follow up every lead particularly those that come from SL channel
with 4 squads working together you will out perform most insurgency sides, with the whole team together you'll walk it
