Hello, ive recently installed the pr and i cant run it thought it says that Pr.exe has stopped working. Does anyone have any suggestions how i can fix it. Because i have really looked forward to this.

can you confirm you have performed all the steps recommended in the Stickied thread.

But that is like over 2 years ago.

OK.

Run the executable as administrator.
Run the executable in compatability mode.
Did you patch vBF2
Can you run vBF2?
Try running in windowed mode and see if windows returns an error.

Are you sure you installed 1.41 and THEN 1.5 patch?

Its pretty pointless to help you if you just say "Ive tried everything". If you are sure why do you still ask here

Yes, i have uppgraded to patch 1.5 then all the pr parts in order, i even uninstalled bf2 once and reinstalled everything again but still, no working pr.exe :/

have you tryed to play normal battlefield 2??


but...
install battlefield2
FIRST patch it to 1.41.(this is must)
THEN patch it to 1.50.

INSTALL PR 1,2,3 parts.
run as admin.
and start Battlefield 2 once before starting PR.

Please look for the file named prError.log in your BF2 PR folder and post the contents.

Excellent.. so running the exe as administrator was the fix?

Could have been, the error is that the exe couldn't make read/write permissions in his User folder. Either a UAC issue or running under a different account.

Been following threads for awhile now...here is the error report that I get...
