Project reality is a game with many variables but very little tutorials so I thought in making a damage charts with all kind of weapons (Infantry and vehicles (air & land)) and their damage in all kind of targets;

but to this I need help. I would appreciate if someone could teach me what to look and how to see the information of the weapons and materials in BF2Editor or in the files of the Mod.

You can also help by telling information of some weapons/vehicles.

-----------//-----------

The kind of information I'm trying to do is like this.

(Damage Chart of BF:BC2)

I think this kind of information would be appreciated by everyone, and maybe improve some gameplays to some newbies.

Thanks in advance,

Those charts just make me lol. The M9 pistol deals as much damage at 12 meters as the HMG of the Bradley. That is humor. Think I saw something like this before though. Not sure where...

BC:2 weapons stats are lol to the highest degree.

A chart like this would be amazing for PR but in all honesty no non dev truly knows this information and I'm not even sure they do afaik or we would have a chart like this already no?
The closest thing iv seen to this is a tank dmg chart witch basically says "AIM FOR DE GLASS BITZ"

I volunteer to help test these things but it would be a waste of time when it would be allot more easy for the Devs just to put the stats in the manual as they have them at hand on paper.

Probably the only weapon i would be interested in would be AK47 vs AK74 :p

LOL Same here!

BC2 stats are not supposed to be real. Its more of a balanced game play situation:

I shoot you.
You shoot me.
I run out of ammo...
and pull out my M9.
You die.

There was a fancy chart made a few months back, however you need to look far and wide to find it.

I can sum it up, however.

Firing at a fully armored soldier (IE not militia, taliban, insurgent, etc) with full health here. I'm not going to include headshots, for obvious reasons.

Every assault rifle is 2 shot kill.

7.62's are 2 shot kill to legs and arms as well. 5.56/5.45/5.8(QBZ) is not. I don't think 7.62x39 is either. But it might be close.

DMRs (of high enough caliber, IE not 5.56) can 1 shot kill at closer ranges, given it is a chest shot. Otherwise it's two.

Snipers are one shot kill, sometimes 2 if hit in arms or legs. Depending on which sniper.

Pistols, depending on caliber, are 3-4 shot kills in the body, 3-5 with arms/legs.

:)

Hi Turista, there is already a damage chart somewhere for each gun in PR, although it is probably out of date on a couple of guns.

Possibly more important are the actual differences between guns in terms of deviation multipliers, etc, as these are the real 'black magic' of PR - aiming/shooting. See my thread on a comprehensive deviation list.
