Green Pixels

Hi, I bought a new PC a few weeks ago and all was going fine until the week before last.
I now have little green pixels where there should be black ones, I can see this mainly as my desktop has a black background. They also sometimes show on the grey background of this forum.
It's not the monitor, as I just bought a new one and it happens on this too, and it's not the cable as I have changed from a VGA to a DVI to no avail.
All I can think is that it's my graphics card, a GT 430...
I would take a screenshot to show them, but the pixels don't show on the screenshot :/
Any help would be greatly appreciated

okay, not a troll... Are all you drivers (video, web, motherboard) up to date?
Check everything that it would possibly be, check all the connections in your chassis and your cables. Then see if your running your video settings on the right Hz and res for those monitors. Even thought you think it isnt the monitor, it still could be the monitors.
Thats my basic personal troubleshoot routine, other than that I dont know. other more experienced members will mention more.

Have you tried updating the drivers?

All my drivers are up to date as far as I know...
I did think it could be the 285.38 beta driver that could be causing it, so I installed the older, stable one, but it's still continuing.

Used to have an nvidia card that did this. Had to RMA it.

If you just installed drivers on top of other drivers then this will cause problems.
A full driver wipe and reboot before installing fresh drivers is always needed t avoid conflicts.
Sorry if im just wasting your time.

I once had this on my old comp with HD4870. Indeed the problem is not with the monitor,
with this
http://www.zastavki.com/pictures/1280x8 ... 18697_.jpg picture it was just unbearable. Check that the Hz is set to 60Hz or something that your monitor supports. I can't remember what i did to mend it.
