Learn how to play the game first. Need to crawl before you walk IMO.
Good luck though, this could be an awesome server.

Already sent you a PM concerning some basic server stuff

.
For rules I recommend you check other server-communities websites so you'll get an idea what is important and which things you need to cover.
PRMumble channel giveouts are currently on hold, so dont be irritated if you do not receive a fast answer.

Could be very promising especially if you enforce mumble.. Yeah kinda agree with dtacs, get familiar with the terms and gameplay so you can admin effectively

I will do my best to make sure that this server is run in a way that gives everybody a chance to really enjoy their time there. We are trying to keep it unpopulated at the moment to make sure we have everything in order before we start. When I get our rules posted I would love for the community to give me their ideas on it as well. I want this to be a place where everybody feels welcome, the rules are fair and policed and mostly its fun.

what would you suggest be the best way to integrate mumble into our server?

Seeing as you guys are pretty new to this I would suggest enforcing it might be a bad idea (e.g. kicking people for not being on mumble) but rather you should just try to encourage it as much as possible, like NwA does for instance.
If you are interested in enforcing mumble, you could start with a rule along the lines of "All Squad Leaders must be in the mumble Squad Leader channel" which is lot less work than trying to get a whole server on mumble.

That's good advice. We will do that.
Thank you for the response.

It's hard work to start a server these days! Well at least to keep it active during the whole week

I think you'll find quite some success on the weekends
Good Luck!
