PR patch for 0.97 problem

Hello guys :D

I've just discovered this place and already like it very much
I have installed PR 0.96 and at the moment the patch installation is running on my computer but it has been taking for 30 minutes so far.
Is it usual or I should stop the process, uninstal it and try again.

PS. I found the thread about this patch but unfortunately it has been closed

Please help

Check behind the installer, I think PB didn't popup overtop.

Already tried but that wasn't the case.
So I ran it anyway and it worked.
Now, I see the list of servers but some of them say that my cd key is not valid and somewhere I almost join but I get a message that I am banned.
Would you please be so kind as to tell me what to do?
And what about Mumble? Should it be turned on while I am playing?

Thanks

Moved to support.

Welcome to the forums, Cosmo. I think you'll find help in this forum section :)

Mumble isn't required, but very useful, a tutorial can be found here.

Your CD key is valid, though - just to exclude the obvious?
The banned messages might come up on some servers that have reserved slots - they'll show as 62/64(2), for example, meaning that there's 2 reserved slots on that server and it's already full at 62 - everyone who tries joining will get a message as if he would've been banned, without actually being banned.

Thanks Spec,

I already have Mumble 0.5 Beta installed.
Would you please tell me where I can find some free servers where I could play?
Tnx

Game servers, you mean?

There's this handy tool for instance to show you what servers are currently populated (and by whom). Otherwise, simply look at the servers in the list and join those that aren't full (pay attention to the last number that might indicate reserved slots).

If you mean mumble servers - simply connect to the default PR Mumble server as explained in the tutorial, and search for the correct channel (same name as the Server you're on). Then connect to the correct team (compare player names to players in-game, or ask someone in your squad what the correct channel is - if you're in a squad that uses mumble, that is. Can be a bit hit/miss sometimes).
