Squad link-up

Hello
Ive been thinking about this for awhile.. An idea that helps groups of people wanting to teamwork bigger than a six-man squad.

2-3 squads can link up.
'Your squad' would appear in green as usual.
Second squad would appear in blue
Third squad would appear in red

- They all CHAT in the same squad channel chat.
- They SPEAK in their own individual squad channels,
- All squads have individual objectives.

This would make it much easier for clans (and the like) playing more than six-men. It is impossible to get another players attention in BF2 because of all the text spam/radio messages.
Communicating between squads is hard enough as it is ^^

This may already have been brought up - But i had no idea what to search for :/
(PS. Please dont shoot me)

This would be awsome, in real life they have US squads with 18 men (Just like this), and each squad has a six man fire team (Just like this) I think this idea is awsome! But can it be done.... I wish EA would make a patch that fixes the bugs, drops all support to BF2, and opens up the "Hardcoded" stuff and allows modders to use unlocks.

you can do that right now if you add TS as the inter squad channel. I vote for anything that improves and extends comms in the game. I would love to see the pre packed radio chatter text deleted, you hear the guy say " enemy spotted" but the only text would be player generated so you could pay attention. Very often i type a mine warning only to see it scoll away under a barrage of " enemy armor spotted" calls.
We all know that " friends don't let friends type in combat" and the less time it takes to send a message it more time to survive.
What are the chances that EA would unlock the hardcode?
Has any other game developer every done that ?
