I think there was a thread about it in the past but I never found it in either search or google site-specific search.

I have purchased BF2 along time ago and I downloaded PR and installed it, but when I go to play it only shows an avarage of 15 servers, and some times it says I dont have all the maps.

My brother on the other hand see alot more servers than I do, I checked everything starting from Windows firewall to the router (ports).

All is ok!

What am I doing wrong?

If many servers show up red or not at all, perhaps you have the wrong version installed? Or maybe the installation files are corrupt?

Try redownloading both Battlefield 2, patches 1.41 and 1.50 and the latest version of PR and installing them in the above order. If you've already done that or it still doesn't work, I'm out of ideas. Try the tech support forum.

maybe you have a server filter on that you don't realize or your on the wrong patch

EDIT: If it says you dont have the maps then you probably haven't got the correct PR version, or your BF2 is out of date. The version that you should have is

Check your server filter mate, you might missed something.

How do I check the server filters?
And I have the original CD and both 1.41 and 1.5 patches installed.
PR is 0.97.

@Oskar yes some of my servers appear red.

Are you going to "Co-operative" or to "Deployment"? Deployment takes you to the "real" multiplayer servers, its sounds like your looking in Co-op.

BTW, how do I know how many Global points do I have?

You don't need to know because there is no ranking system in Project Reality. You gain your reputation from other players For BF2 stats go to BF2Stats.net - Battlefield 2 Stats
