Mods: I know there are posts in the restricted section of the PR Forums regarding this matter, but I wanted to let the community as a whole know what's going on. I hope this is okay. If you feel the need to move this thread, please put it in a public forum.

This Friday (11th) while playing on PRTA, a few of us in sN1 stumbled across two players wearing the tag: SN1|

We weren't sure how to react and jokingly said, "It's a lower case S, guys!"

Sure enough, today I've been hearing from loads of people on Xfire that there are sN1 (lower case S) players griefing on their servers (duplicate squads, intentional teamkilling, asset theft, abuse etc.)

Rest assured these are impersonators, and are just trying to make us look bad. sN1 is a 12-man team, and as a general rule of thumb we don't recruit - ever. If you see a new name wearing our tag, know that he is not a new recruit; he is a troll.

My suggestion is to do what I intend to do; don't feed the trolls. Report them to an admin, but don't get involved in a debate because that's no doubt what they want.

I just wanted people to know that these guys are fake, and I find it heart warming that everyone who's come across them so far has immediately recognised that they're not sN1 and has let me know via Xfire what's going on.

Above all I am flattered that someone dislikes us enough to do this. Everyone who has been told on Teamspeak what's going on has just laughed; it's not something that upsets us.

I was gonna do that but I don't want to give them ammunition. Suffice it to say that if someone wearing an sN1 tag is griefing, it's not us.

Isn't Ross Kemp's cousin's sister his cousin anyway? So it's technically Ross Kemp's cousin's acquaintance?

Apparently there's a guy who doesn't like one of us.

I guess one of those imposters had a bad experience with sN1 like being kicked out of the squad because it was a clan only squad or not being able to use an asset because his squad name was not named APC but sN1 squad was. Just revenge I guess.

We're pretty sure we know why these people are doing it. It's up to Phlupple if he wants to tell you or not.

Around a year ago a guy that had been in a community with a couple of people from sN1 joined sN1's Teamspeak, and started to play with them. Without anyone's permission this guy put the "sn1|" tag on his name. Phlupple told him to take them off, as they're not recruiting anyone.
Obviously this guy got mad, and has now gathered a group of people to start "trolling" us, by putting our tags on.

Got into the server yet? heheheheheh.
