PRTA Kashan No Flag - Sunday 4th of December 1800 PRT

Event Background!
Due to a long discussion and ideas posted by community members, I decided to work on this project. Please help us test this way of playing PR.

Simple!
This is essentially AAS with no flags, all you have to do, is find and kill the enemy.
Use teamwork, communication or a huge gun, and fight the enemy till he dies! Find anyway possible annihilate him! We dont want you to worry about defending, just cooperate with the team on taking the enemy out, anyway you want.

Information
The event will take place on Sunday the 4th of December. At 1800 PRT. We will run the map all through the night with the password: prmumble

Rules
All PRTA rules apply during this event, with the exception of rushing flags and similar. Please respect them read here: PR Server Rules | PRTA

Please do the following steps:
To ensure you dont lose any files, we ask that you right click your Original "kashan_desert" folder in Mods/PR/Levels. And rename it to "kashan_desertbkp"
Then when you have done that, download the following rar and extract it in the Mods/PR/Levels.

kashan_desert.rar

After the event remove the map you downloaded here, and rename "kashan_desertbkp" to "kashan_desert".

This is to avoid any MD5 problems or disconnected issues.

And you are good to go!

1 Tank
6 IFVs
8 Supply Vehicles
4 Logistic trucks
1 Transport helicopter
1 Jet

MEC
1 Tank
3 IFVs
3 APCs
8 Supply Vehicles
4 Logistic Trucks

1 Jet

Hmm, I was expecting more heavy assets than regular Kashan, not less. No mobile AA?

Too much assets = less infantry. Ive found a good balance now. If you waste the Tank or the Jet. Then you need to use the mobile AA or stationary AA to take out the jet. And the APCs against armor.

Its all been thought of!

Im going to make this one this time, since last sunday i was attacked by 12 Torjans and had to run 2 full scan with took 10 hours. D: Im going to be Squad leading a INF sq can't wait to see you on the battle field men!

Too bad I can't be there though.
I think you'll need 2 good commanders to pull this off though.
But I'm sure it will work out, changing the map and all is a bit tricky though, some people may screw up on that part and end up re-downloading the maps/mod.

wrong approach wicca, I don't see this working out at all, without flags you don't have objectives. Pretty much this is team deathmatch on a 4 km map, with vehicles.

Have you adjusted the ticket count to accommodate for the lack of "flag-cap-ticket-loss" and generally focused battle losses?

I for one can see this working.

Why you may ask?

Well because this is going to simulate a real battlefield, no real war has a AAS route for both sides to follow, they take what they need to gain the upper hand.

What i can see is that sending out a Humvee with a Sniper and Medic can Recon an area and then the commander can asses the situation and mobilze what he accualy needs to counter that threat.

Lets say the MEC are moving there troops 1 tank 4 IFV and 2 logis, the US commander can asses and counter with the nessacery troops ans not have to throw all his troops at once or to lilttle.

You know what im saying?

That can be done server side. That being said, the kashan desert rarely has combat that are decided on the flags, unless they get outcapped. It usually is the air or ground assets that make the teams bleed.
