Why only officer has access to submachine guns? This is great weapon to CQB, and Officers should stay behind, instead of attacking. I very often see Officers flanking enemies, because only them, have weapon for CQB. Maybe you will add this weapons to more kits, for example rifleman specialist, because in PN he isn't CQB man, because of his rifle.

Alt Grenadier kits provide that extra burst that you need in your squad.

When requesting the grenadier kit, click left-mouse button instead, you will have an assault kit.

^^ You must mean right-mouse button, as that is the alt-kit.

Oh yeah right sorry, always had a problem with left and right ON THE MOUSE.

Because me and my brother always used to call right left on the mouse for years, don't know why

There will be more SMGs in a next version.

American infantry squads had no smgs at all in their TOE, but squad leaders would often try to get their hands on one. Otherwise they would just sue the Carbine or Garand. German infantry squads had 2 smgs (if enough available) for their squad leader and his assistant. Both nations issued 1 smg per tank crew (M3 Greasegun for Americans)

Good we already have the Greasegun for the crewman. But I think that it's alright to have alt-grenadier kit with SMGs, it's rare that people request them anyway. We want some SMGs in PN too

Well if they come with SMGs now it won't be so rare huh...

How do you want to fire a riflegrenade with a SMG?

Anyway there will be more SMGs for next release and more ammo in overall.

For those who prefer an alternative Grenadier kit with the SMG over the rifle for the sake of a SMG, is that even a question? That's what I meant. :l

But if more SMGs make their way into the mini-mod next release, as what is being currently planned now, then that changes...
