Is it possible for dual (2) screen support? for example, Map on one screen, main gameplay screen on the other?

Though I can see how simply the map would be useful, especially as squad leader.

Exiled.
Not a bad idea but tbh, the map isn't so hard to open up ingame :p

Personally I just have mumble/TS maximised on my second screen so I can see who's talking :)

I do the same, just without driving into trees, most of the time :p

Main thing is that its the only way to getting info on where everything is, which a picture map on the 2nd screen wouldn't have.

U should designate a driver or a map reader in your squad. The best is probably to designate a driver so u can stare on the map and tell him where to go.

^this, a SL should almost never be the driver. Just like IRL the person in charge should be in the passenger seat reviewing the map and planning and adjusting plans as the situation requires.

the driver should also know what he's supposed to be doing and where he's going. Most SLs hop in and say drive and give way points along the way. this is a bad habit and means the driver needs to constantly wait for new orders on where to go. Brief the driver on the destination and route before moving. this will allow the driver to concentrate on looking for hazards instead of concentrating on how to avoid missing a turn.

Untrue, Will repost with Link. It's been done. ;P
**UPDATE**
It is possible with 2. With 3.. Bf2 cuts and stretchs. This is what 3 will look like.

DopeFish's "Widescreen Fixer 1.32 This is what you will need to get you started to properly stretch across 2 screens. 3 screens... and it will look like the video. Repost or PM if you have any questions.

I've got Mumble on my second monitor. The only thing bothering me is that Mumble automatically scrolls down. Anyone knows a way to fix that?

When I am SL I usually drive, my first words are, "who wants to be the human GPS?"

After the non-native English speakers ask what I mean, I usually get a volunteer.

I also don't use 2nd monitor often when playing PR, when I do I put up Mumble/TS and MortarCalc.

Ye but its not exactly realistic to have your map open beside you as your running along :p

Our map system isn't that realistic as it is with being able to run with it open, but at least you can't see where your going when looking at it very well :p

It's not hard to fix, go to Configure->Settings->Messages
And untick the boxes you see in this pic, you can untick more if you prefer...
you can also lower the text to speech characters limit if you get those messages...
Click Apply to save the settings

This wont fix this "issue"

They are talking about the mumble scrolling down whenever someone joins a channel or server. It moves the list all the way down and expands to current event.

I used to have a 2nd laptop during my battles in the PRT. Having TS keys, squad organization maps and plans on it... Felt badass :) Not to mention turning on ACDC all the time

SL dont drive.. or just be skilled and avoid trees. I can do everything with no problem.
