After finding out about Project Reality while surfing youtube videos for BF2 back in June 2011.
I seems I have a found the best game I have a ever played in the history of my life, The realism, The Vehicles, and especially the teamwork involved in this game when everyone in the game is determined to win the game and that is what I find extemely fascinating about this game and I would like to thank the development team and the founders of the game of thinking of the idea of the game and I really hope you guys keep developing and the community keep the game alive until the full game releases (From what I heard), plus I am very excited for your next update to be released, Hoping it is very close to Christmas.
Thanks Alot - Ryan Parsons

Yeah! You are right.
PR is fascinating, even after I played BF3 for nearly a month, I came back to play PR and quit BF3. LOL
Using BF2 engine is wise. It's much easier than ARMA for a player to handle, and PR:BF2 combined entertainment and reality, that's why I played PR for 3 years.
Do thank development team and the founders too!

Well PR how is ugly mix of ArmA2,BF2 and Minecraft on old engine with a lot of lags and FPS drops on HI-END hardware.
Some versions ago Ill things thats PR is a best game ever, but how - I don't thing so.I can't call this not like a game and not like a simulator.A lot of Russian community do not like this version, those, who plays how - never play older versions.

I felt exactly the same way about Project Reality when I played it for the first couple of times.

If you don't like it - don't play it. The majority of players from Russian community are vanilla gamers. And yes, I am Russian, so I know what I am talking about. Sorry if I hurt someone's feelings, but this is true. They really don't need anything. No mumble, lone wolfing, rushing to the supply crate to take sniper/hat kit, they never defend flags. This is the Russian community.

If you dont like it, dont play it. And dont come here to whine in threads where new players want to appreciate the game. A mix with minecraft? Dude, seriously, minecraft?
And FPS drops and lags with high-end hardware? I just bought a new LAPTOP and it runs smooth and without any lagging with best quality. Maybe you dont have high-end hardware.
I could say many other things, but lets just leave it for now because its making me mad and thats not healthy in the morning.

Well in BF3 I got 60FPS at Ultra High,In ArmA2 I got 30FPS at high@3000m,but in PR I got FPS drops from 50 to 18 FPS.My system is Phenom
[email protected],6 GB RAM and Radeon 6950.My friend got same, someone of them go i7 and GTX580.
Game should make fun for almost everyone, who plays them.Simulator should simulate IRL things(Like stamina, weather, ballistic ETC.)In modern PR I don't had both things,no fun and no realism.Even if PR tried to be simulator they never be it,because:
1)Engine cannot simulate IRL things. They simulate very silly, like - Paralytic Random(Also know as Random System) imitate handsnake, but without animation.May be IRL you can feel your gun,but not there
2)32vs32 - less unit thats platoon. Not seriosly for simulator.
3)For full simulating should be maked 1 life per round, deaths not talk right?
4)......ETC ETC ETC
I am don't like and DON'T PLAY it anymore.Cool stuff like new 3d models doesn't make me happy with so ugly gameplay.

Looks like I was wrong! I gave this game a full month to be popular but it did not last a whole week
Well that's what they deserve for not giving us mod tools and lying people and...oh well they know it already.
PR is awesome and it has flaws but come on guys where do you all come back?
Thanks to Devs for great mod and an awesome map pack! Im just enjoying tons of fun in last few hours and fun just got started...

PR was the best game in the world, before 0.8v, then everything changed, oversized maps, boring slow gameplay, slow shooting, slow vehicles...mumble servers and e.t.c

been playing pr since 0.7 and the present version for me is the best. It is the best balanced mix between realistic simulation and gameplay as allowed by the BF engine. The game is not lagging for me and I enjoy every round I play. As for the russian community.. Being russian myself i recognize that beside some clans as SRF, the rest are lone wolves who don't even speak english. Nothing bad about that, but if you dont join a clan and stick with your clanmates, you are losing the half meaning of pr. Teamwork can be mostly achieved when playing with people you know, and not just making random squads and hoping for the best. Sometimes it works and sometimes not.
As for BF3 .. nice and shiny toy of which you get bored fast because you are mostly based on the content provided by the game (get "x" weapon, go to "y" point and shoot some people while one poor guy tries to capture the "z" flag, and then rinse repeat) in PR you are based on content provided by the players. Tactics finally have a real application, communications are a must, and teamwork is the only thing which makes your team to win the game. Each round is completely different from any other. That is the magic of PR, be it BF or Arma.
If somebody likes more straightforward approach to shooting games, f.e. rambo-shoot-anything-that-moves-and-show-off-my-sick-skilz this game is not meant for you, and you should rethink if you would like to play this game and spend a lot of time running around the map with your kills being less than 5 for the whole round.
I stop here coz i can be ranting for the next 3 pages and nobody wants that
Welcome to PR RyanParsons7 and get ready to spend most of ur time here! You will enjoy it, we all promise you that!!
Jason out!

Yeah I've been playing PR since ~0.7 as well and the current version of PR is the best despite what other people say. Sure there were some hick-ups with some maps not performing very well but you cannot get it perfect with every release. Plus the new maps are performing very well and I take that as the DEV team learned about their mistakes in the past.
I would also like to say that the teamwork in PR is still very much alive (yes public games also) even though I feared the opposite some time ago. I've had some time to play PR again and it's very clear that in order to get good teamwork you must dedicate some time into it.
PR is NOT a game where you can log in for half an hour and have a good game and that's the way it should be anyway. Dedicate yourself to the game for a whole evening and you are almost guaranteed a good time.
In order for good gameplay in PR: "Ask not what the game can do for you, instead ask what you can do for the game"
