I decided to install the new map pack today and now I CTD whenever I join a server. I haven't even tried playing one of the new maps yet, I joined HOG's 24/7 Muttrah where I play every day without issue.

Are you sure downloaded the FULL version and not the BETA version, as playing with the BETA version will cause you to CTD.

Do you have an ATI graphics card?

Ye if you got ATI card and latest drivers just rollback to older ones and you will be fine. Most of people got problems like you do and rolling back to older drivers fixed the problem.

Same problem for me on the new map like Vadso and Black Gold (CTD at loading, or after 15min playing)
I have NVidia and driver of december.
No problem on the other map.

I'm experiencing this problem too; has happened on Black Gold and Shijia Valley. I have an Nvidia graphics card.

Both of those maps are memory intensive. If you don't have more than 2GB of RAM, then you'll need to turn down your graphics settings, especially textures.

I have 4GB of RAM, so tell me why I get these crashes too?

Which graphic card do you have? Are you crashing on specific maps or all of them?

From the other topic one guy said that it's probably because of the graphics setup. I've turned everything to low and now I don't have these problems anymore.
But anyways, my graphics card is GeForce 9800 GT X and I am only crashing on the Black Gold map.

Maybe lower the resolution and bump your graphics levels up a bit? Might help, so try testing.
