I can't tell you how annoying it is to hear check fire, or requesting ammo/medic, or smoke out, over and over and over and over and over and over again when I'm trying to talk to my squad (especially via mumble). Maybe if it only happened locally that'd be fine, but it transmits to the WHOLE TEAM... Its loud and completely unnecessary... is there any way to turn these off? I tried turning down "voiceover volume" but that didn't do anything, I don't care if I have to replace the original audio files with like... a silent track or something... just please tell me how to turn them off.

Hmm, I think there's only a few of them that are still teamwide. Things like 'Cease Fire' etc.
Requesting ammo is local only I think.

Not if you're in a vehicle. Also; if you're in a HMG and say "reload" the whole team can hear it.

I'm nearly certain there is no way to silence those damn radio calls... I remember agonizing over it awhile ago. The worst one is by far the call requesting mortar strikes, considering its only relevant for at most three team members. It really gets me when I am trying to listen carefully for footsteps as a Taliban ninja, and some voice screams at me for a good 3-4 seconds, and then continues to transmit static for half again that time. Makes me rage every time. The Jet calls are pretty obnoxious as well, what with the high-pitched screech of the engines blasting out the whole team; they aren't even that loud in the cockpit.
