I've thoroughly enjoyed the games on Ghost Train again. I never enjoyed Tad Sae that much to begin with but I'll see how it goes.

I think TS is too bright. Its more like day with night sky. Id make ti so its really more of a game of silhouettes and blind guesses... and tracers. :D

I am loving playing them again, loving the new atmosphere on tad Sae and would love to see this map style/idea bought over to other maps perhaps

Tad Sae used to be dusk or dawn.

Someone just changed the sky texture without properly going over other lighting settings.. :roll:

Its a shame that engine is so limited... it would be extremely cool to have proper moonlight, with all the tree shadows and stuff.

this 2 maps are so awesome, perfect size to be between skirmish and AAS.

And it is real war on 128 players server :)

Prone > hear ennmy shoot > crouch and fire a burst > prone fast or get kill by a ninja hiden 2m far from you.

I don't like Tad Sae so much, I'm sick of everybody complains about how the map needs NVGs.
I also wish it had more vehicles, like .50cal HMMWVs and gun go carts, its quite annoying to have to walk everywhere.

Agreed. I don't know why people don't like it. We have too many desert and not enough jungle maps. I know, I know. Some people don't have the hardware for jungle or they lag a lot. But I'm happy it has returned.

I'm working on an African jungle map, will be posting it in the community maps section soon. It will feature the long grass/tall ferns and thick trees for maximum concealment. I hope I made it sound 10 times better than it actually will be. But to get back on topic, I haven't managed to get on tad sae because all the admins on the servers I play on never put it up for vote. :(

Low viewdistance, low flag cap radius. OGT rewards camping in the fucking bushes and waiting for the enemy to come in to your visual range.
