I run as administrator but it won't place me on the right team/server/squad

Do you see a message on the left panel ( bottom ) while both, and PR are running "Battlefiled 2 linked" ?? If not you are doing something wrong. Are you running new version of mumble 1.0? Also sometimes it takes more time for server to switch you to right server/team/squad so be patient. Also if server that youre joining is not PR mumble 1.0 registered nothing will happen.

Yes its linked and yes Im running the newest

Have you tried on some other server? Not all servers have mumble support.

Out of curiosity, have you recently employed AncientMan's retail BF2.exe fix for the server list error? I did, and mumble has been dysfunctional since.

I'm sorry if you got offended, I'm just trying to help, and people sometimes oversee those small trivial things so there is no harm in reminding them sometimes of it, as it can instantly fix some of long ongoing issues.

Have you tried reinstalling it? And while you do it, make sure to tick all the options on installer exe on compatibility tab except 256 colors and 640x480 resolution. Once you install dont start it but cancel the wizard if it starts, and set to its launcher icon to run it as administrator on compatibility tab. Leave others unticked. Launch mumble before you launch PR and join some server, see what happens next. Make sure that firewall isnt blocking it.

For those who still have problems connecting the new Mumble and who have tried everything else. Here is a possible solution:

You may have deleted the files in the pr/movies folder (to skip the intro). Mumble however needs one of them to link to the game.

Download the menubg.bik from here:
menubg.bik
...and put it in your /Battlefield 2/mods/pr/movies/ folder

In my case, I had re-named the folder to _movies. Reverting to the original folder name got Mumble working immediately.
I hope this helps all of those with this issue!
