I reinstalled PR: BF2 and the Normandy mod the other day. I've been playing A LOT in the past few days and I still haven't seen a single populated Normandy server.

What gives?

tbh i think it basically stopped when NEW decided to quit hosting it

Weekend is coming soon, let's hop on a server altogether and have fun. As soon as the server hits around 15 players, it'll start to fill more quickly.

Yeah it stopped in about same time, and soon after that new maps got released so that might be the reason. Im still hosting it so if anyone is interested hop in. I got mumble 1.0 channel for it and its probably going to be online for holidays ( until 15th January ).

The timing of the new map pack definitely has something to do with the lack of population. This being said, the 26th MEU server is online at all times, and we are always up for a game. Feel free to contact us over Xfire, on our TeamSpeak, or just hop in one of our servers and speak up, and we'll usually be more than happy to help get it populated. The only reason that we have not been seeding our PN server on a daily basis is that we have been focusing on our primary server recently.

Yes as soon as the [NEW] server closed, the population on PN went down. And now the mappack doesn't really help it. Hopefully the next PN release will bring more people back

Announce it as an event and invite a few clans to take the lead (as in CO) or to simply participate.

I personally want to see a 64+ Server... 64 players are not enough for such an epic map(invasion with 32 players is not cool ). I also like the extended size of squads(10-12 players). I think if we can get SISU to host a PN server it will be full soon.

I downloaded minimod and tried to play it 1st time. Only online right now is "[NEW] Project Normandy PRIVATE", has password, "np" doesnt suite.

I cant even test this mod anywhere. No free servers, or i missed smth?

The [NEW] server is running in private mode right now. The password for other servers is "pn", not "np".

i hope there will be a skirmish version for next release to help server start on PN

All the PN servers I see are all private... any word on when we will have a public PN up? really want to storm Normandy!

We will never have a public PN up. All custom maps need to have a password, the password to PN servers is : pn

P and N in lower case. So if you feel like seeding a server hop on the PRTA server if it's there. The one you saw today was a training for an event coming in February with 200 players.

It's not active for now, it should be more active in the next month, when we will eventually release a new version.

Ill make another server. But it will only be 64 players.
