I scanned the site and didnt see anything for new players, sorry if I missed something though..

So I saw PR on some videos a while back and tried playing it with a buddy of mine but well, we didnt fair so well and we both got busy so it sorta was put on the back burner, but I have alot more time on my hands and would like to get into the game

My issue is that im new to the game and havent PC fps gamed since I was 14 (i'm 23 now) so needless to say I suck, I suck so bad that I feel bad for joining random squads in the game and trying to "help" some how, so I was hoping that I could talk to and play the game with a few people who could figuratively hold my hand untill I learn how to do well anything.

Anyways, I can get any voice chat program or IM program so on.

Play on Tactical Gamer, PRTA or NwA servers. Always tell the SL that you are new so they can give you a role that isn't complicated or stressful. Don't do anything (IE fly jets or choppers, or lead an infantry squad) until you are seasoned enough to execute them properly.

Read the manual when you can, beginning to end. Look into the guides section and read this thread immediately. I cannot stress how important it is that you read that one.

Follow dtacs' advice and you'll have a good start. Just make sure you find a mature squad leader who'll give you a hand - there's enough of those around. If you have any specific questions, feel free to post them here, we'll do our best to answer them =)

Follow all the steps already mentioned and also start playing on the COOP servers first to try things out and learn the basics (like shooting)
