hey all. i just got back playing this game again and i just downloaded it a few days ago. normandy, the map pack, the full client. when i downloaded the map pack it said if i wanted the updated version of prmumble. i clicked yes and i made it uninstall the pr mumble i had (0.5) and re-install the new one. i didnt get 1.0 from it and i dont know were to get pr mumble 1.0 at this time.

now for the voip ingame. i keep changing the settings for recieving voip, and turning it to 100% and turn voip on, i hit apply and back out of it. when i go back to it, it changes back to what it was before. i dont know how to fix it but for some reason i believe its cause i dont have a microphone. (broke the other headset). if u guys can help. thanks.

Get PR Mumble 1.0 here. Make sure to check everything on compatibility tab except, run in 256 colors and run in 640x480 resolution when you're installing it.
Once you install it dont run wizard instantly, cancel it if it starts, and right click to its shortcut, and check run as administrator on compatibility tab, leave others unticked. Run it, go trough wizard, register your username - win.

Probably that the reason, and I dont see how can you even use the feature and set it up, if you dont have mic. Get one and then see what happens.

good thing im heading to the store tomorrow. got a few bucks from christmas. i lost my last headset cause the ear peice was plastic and i turned it one to many times and it cracked. so i taped it up and the next day we had a flood. lost the headset and the xbox it was connected to. so that was my christmas gift basically, a new xbox lol

fixed. it was cause i had no mic. got one today and it works. ty guys for helping me on these 2 problems!
