I'm sorry I forgot to post this when it happened, but my memory was sparked when I was reading another post. But listen to what happened to me last Friday, when I was in a server(sorry guys the name escapes me).

I was in a server with only one other guy and I was a medic on the US side, playing Jungle fever if I remember correctly. Now whatever I did I couldn't kill him. It's not that I couldn't hit him, I was standing right in front of him shooting him with my m16a2 and he was knifing me. No damage was being exchanged. I should not the game was live. AKA it didn't say "Game will start when X amount of players join".

I don't know if the other guy was hacking or if it was some weird bug, but I know it wasn't right. Anyway, hope this helps.

I think it might have just been lag, or hitbox issues, maybe a combo of both?

Did you try throwing a 'nade V1per45? i do believe theres a server setting that dosent allow damage to be dealt or explosives to be set off?

was he on your team? maybe ff was off

No, I didn't try throwing a nade, because I got tired of it and left.

He also wasn't on my team for sure, because I saw that he had the dragnuv sniper.

As for the lag, I don't think that was the issue, My ping was somewhere under 100. The hit boxes? I don't know, but I was standing 5 feet in front of him and wasting him with the AK....and nothing happened.

Well recently EA dropped the number of players required to start a game. It is probably due to a bug in this choice in that it actually didn't start.

I'm sure EA's fix was to simply take that "this game will start..." message away.
