After recently being unjustly banned from ]H[ server I was told if I payed five dollars the ban would be overturned.

I find this an unusual situation to say the least. Perhaps even illegal??
Do any other PR servers operate this way ?? Is this standard practice in the PR community.
Does this mean I can do anything I want on their server as long as i pay them to not ban me???

Does anyone else in the community feel that this is wrong???

If its official guideline to unban for certain fee, then ok. But if they PM people saying: "Ya pay us 5 dollas and your ban appeal might go trough easier" then its not ok.

the closeset thing is TG's supporting member, but really that isn't close

anyway you should talk with some Hardcore members about this, on their forums, not posting here.

I can't play there I'm banned.It was always a last resort anyway.Due to team stacking and ineffective admin.
I have discussed it with ]H[ members on their forum. I just thought that people should be made aware of this situation.
The PR community consists of a lot more than the hardcore clan and this seems to me to be a subject worthy of general discussion by the community.
My concern is that i was banned in spite of not breaking any rules and then asked for five dollars to overturn the ban. This seems wrong to me. And seems like a money grabbing exercise on behalf of ]H[. Surely that is not right???

In the interests of honesty and openness,I would like to challenge any hardcore members to justify this here in an open public forum. For the whole community to see.

Its their server and they can run it how they want. Its just the point that this strategy of gaining funds is a downright joke and epitomizes those who manage it. If you got banned off H and need to pay to reverse it, god help you when you go play on another server.

But if you were banned it's for a reason. I was temporaly banned from this server one time because an admin started banning anyone that used global chat. Maybe it was something similar for you?

Ukranian VBIOS server is the same thing. And they banned all IPs from my country. And it is a pirate server without CD-key check.
You can play there and after a while you will get banned for some silly reason. That's how they earn money.
