Hello guys,
I have been searching the net for some detailed information about the fighting in Ghowrmach during Operation Harekate Yolo, November 1-6, 2007.
My most detailed source is Wikipedia...
In recent years, has anything new emerged re: the Norwegian participation in Herakate Yolo?

Yeah, I know.
Figured maybe something more meaty leaked out - documentaries, memoirs, newspapers etc - given it's been a few years now...

During the mission, a Norwegian sniper with the 2nd Battalion hit one of the Taliban insurgents from a distance of 1380 meters on the first shot, using a Barret M82A1 .[4] Another Norwegian sniper team shot and killed a Taliban insurgent from a distance of approx. 2010 meters, this was, however, not a first round hit. Several targets were engaged with the Barrett, some of them almost 3000 meters away.
thats a sick shot :O
