Maybe it was suggested before, but I couldn't find it.

Is it possible to make civilians in BF 2? You may not shoot on them and when you do, you lose some points. It would be realistic, in modern wars civilians are a very important factor. Look to vietnam, look to Iraq and look to Afghanistan.

But ofcourse, they can't be in every map. But in city's like Karkand 2 and Muttrah they can be massive...

But is it possible?

Oh and I think the general anwser from the devs was that it was quite impossible, or if in some way possible too much work for too little fun.
