Are you using the soundmod on servers that doesn't support it?

Yes, that is the problem.
The soundmod won't work on any unpassworded servers, or at least it should not work.

In future if you have issues like this, it is highly beneficial to troubleshooters if you post a screenshot of the actual error. Third party reports miss critical components or completely misconstrue the issue.
