Insurgent caches are too easy

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

On the insurgency gameplay mode, caches are too easy to discover. This is a result of the minimum required distance between caches and the sometimes the limited number of cache spawns. Some maps, such as Fallujah West and Karbala, are simply too small to support the two-cache spawn system. I believe this constitutes a bug in the code which drastically affects gameplay to the extent that the maps are simply unplayable and no longer fun.
Steps to Reproduce:

Play for several months, learn the cache spawns on each map, use common sense and deduce where the unknown cache has spawned. Experienced players can easily identify where the next unknown cache will spawn by systematically searching common spots and eliminating spots based on previous caches. For example, the map Karbala.

On Karbala, the US team can start by heading west to search the Old US main base. Then, they work their way south and search the village. The US team will continue south to check the warehouse area and the refinery. The US team then heads east along the south edge of the map to check the south village area. After checking the south village area, they can then proceed to check the east side and center of the city, which is usually unnecessary because most caches can spawn in the previously mentioned areas.

All of this checking can be completed in less than 10 min. using light ground vehicles, or even quicker using air assets. This tactic, when BLUFOR is organized and uses armored assets, is 100% unable to be stopped. The insurgent team lacks the mobile anti-armor assets to effectively counter a US convoy. (1 bomb car and 1 Bomb Dumptruck vs. multiple Stryker vehicles and a tank + CROWS and basic Humvees. The insurgent .50 cal vehicles are ineffective against Stryker vehicles) The use of the usual insurgent anti-armor weapons (IEDs and Mines) are negated by the vast areas of open ground and the lack of rocks to hide mines in.

i agree and have to add that the area around the cache marker is to small..

i can remind some years ago where the caches are in a radius of 150m around the cache marker i think.. im not sure, but i think it was 100m.. or 150 or so..
actually its exact at the marker.. thats not really fun to search..

also with the implementation of mortars, that marker is an instant mortar target. i find that pretty annoying.

Yeah I loved when the marker was placed within 150m (or whatever it was) of the cache.

This would've belonged into the suggestions or feedback forum, but would have been a repost in either, so I'm locking this. The team is aware of this fact.
