[Solved] VOIP Isn't Working

Hi, today I was playing, and for some reason, my squad members couldn't hear me talk, and my "Mic Working" symbol always went from green to red with an X through it. Does anyone know why and/or know a fix?

Some Windows setting I guess (not right mic chosen)... or in BF2 settings menu... or ur mic isn't plugged in correctly... but still, PR mumble ftw... ;)

That speaker icon when you transmit will turn red after a some time because the transmission is becoming to long (~ 20sec I think). Red speaker indicates that your traffic is not being sent anymore. When you see your speaker icon turn red you will have to release the voip button shortly then press it again to continue your transmission.

However this would mean that your squad members only couldn't hear the rest of the message - they should have at least hear you initially. Which was it?

I know, but it turned red within one second, and they couldn't hear me at all even when it was green.

EDIT: Also, when I did the mic test in the options, it sounded fine, but it just won't work right in game.

Your router might be blocking those ports. That is ongoing issue lately, and various problems are involved. Voip not working in your case. I said might, so please post your router model/make and do mention if you have any soft firewalls IS bundles.

Actually, for some reason it just started working, I don't know what I broke, but apparently it's fixed. Thanks, though.
