Hello everyone,

I am currently looking for a clan. I dont want anything extremely serious, but I dont want to play with immature players (12 years old kid, please, go away!!!).

In general, im a sniper/reco unit and I suck in helicopter and airplane. i prefer to be on foot, hidden under a tree, somewhere where I can see the operation area.

I have a working mic (Sennheiser PC 350) and I hate Xfire, but ill use it if its necessary. I have a good internet connection (Download speed: 31.51 Mb/s Upload speed: 2.10 Mb/s).

Im living in Quebec, and im 16 years old (Ill be 17 soon (16 may)). I have small dificulty speaking english, because my first language is french, and im still learning it, but I think im good enough to speak.

I am trying to be as active as possible but life isn't easy (sometime...).

So if someone want to invite me in his clan, or just in a small team, just tell me. If you want more information just reply here, or send me a private message.

Why?? Everyone need a recon unit in his squad.

PR is to fast paced for proper Recon squads, the best you'll get is sat in the mountains sniping and calling CAS, but even then its rare. I would start to expand yourself in other areas and not just with sniper kits

Why is everyone under the impression all recon does is sit in one spot? Recon does not just do LRRP they get up close and personal. As in they bring a knife to your toilet stall.

You don't need them in PR tho, maybe a small squad hunting fobs, thats about it.

This. Have them find enemy FOBs, mortars and report the enemy movements along with setting up ambushes for vehicles. Other than the occasional HAT engaging enemy armor they should just stay away from everyone.

Thats a really good point! A recon help giving information on enemy position. Its the most important thing on a battlefield, knowing where the enemy is!

We play PR whenever we feel like it, usually in groups. We are not great as we don't train or anything but we attempt to implement tactics into our game play. No one is assigned to anything as were not any type of realism clan were here to have fun. Although in your case we do run Units within our clan that dedicate their selves to one or two games. They run their selves (created by out clan members) hold training sessions and use clan resources such as our servers to train on. One of our Units is called GHOST which like to do recon/spec op type game play I think you would enjoy that.

Hmmm, sneaking, knifing, killing enemies, blowing up fobs, you all call it recon I just call it a regural 2 men clan squad with officer/hat/combatengi and medic stabing people in the back.

Stuff that will help in coordinating the attack/defense, the last thing in his job list is killing enemy. But no one does it like that so when it comes to teamwork the snipers are useless .

I never said snipers either. I said recon. Everyone seems to keep saying nobody does this or that. I've seen people do it quite a bit.

Rare yes but it does happen.

Some of them do attack, when I do recon we go on the offensive when need be. The only real problem with recon is when they do relay intelligence it is often overlooked and it could prevent those HAT's that kill all your armor and everything or ambushes as your advancing.

Anyways no im really off topic.

May I recommend the following:

TG (community rather than clan) (Tagged |TG|)
Operational Detatchment Sierra (Tagged [OD-S])
Third Armoured Cavalry (Tagged [3dAC])

These are some of (maybe the) best actively recruiting groups with North American detatchments around, and they boast some of PR's best squad leaders. Language issues won't be a problem, and I can name several francophone members of the above groups if that would help.

That said, be prepared to follow orders - you'll find everybody's pretty nice around here (minus Chrisweb, that rube!) so long as you listen and play as a member of a team rather than as an individual - though we're known to be jokers, too.

I personally would add to that list the Special Recon Force ( Tags SRF) although they are a primarily Russian speaking clan, and therefore don't recruit in NA.

Snake, thats great to know that your looking for a recon/sniping squad in fact I am a unit leader for GHOST and judging from your taste in a clan, EC would be the clan for you and I also need a 4th person for my unit
