What. The. Heck. I just spent my entire day re-installing BF2, getting the patches, and downloading all the setups for the mod. Now that it's 8:10 here, I'm very tired. And I have also just found out that the setups will not even START. Now, since the world is going to end around Christmas this year, I suppose I have a little time to ask for a fix. Please.

Well, I guess it does load the setup. After about 2 hours. I made another post relating to this same thing, and somebody said something about file integrity or something. If someone could explain it to me and how I can fix the problem, then that would be nice.

you can download a md5 hash checking program.
such as md5summer from md5summer.org
you want to check the file hash (which is a unique signature of the original file on the host server, which you downloaded to your client PC), if the signature is the same, then the file has 100% integrity.
How to do so:
Install and open MD5summer.
INside md5summer, one at a time, open each PR installer files.

compare the hashes to make sure it's the same.

The files takes so long to start because of windows' UAC and your anti-virus. Before the file can be executed for real it is being tested if you have the right privileges and for malware. Since those files are quite large this can take a long time.
To shorten this up you could deactivate UAC and your anti-virus (and "windows defender") for the time of the installation. Only do so if you downloaded the files from a link provided on this website.

Turn User Account Control on or off
