Name: Operation Deliverance
31st March 20.00 UTC all players must be on mumble at 19.30 UTC
Map: Basra 64
Player Size: 128 players
Type: Scenario Based

Mumble must be used in the event or you will be kicked from the sever
A special one off event, basic insurgency layout, but with extra goodies. This is basically standard insurgency with an added objective for the British to really test the command and control skills. The British side will be given an amount of time to set up Forward Operating Bases in Mansion (cimic house on the map) and VCP bulldog these must be held at all costs. Resupply to these bases must be done via supply trucks by road route only. (deployable bridges are allowed to be used). With this it will give to Commanders of both sides the tactical decisions of communication and also deciding what forces will go where. Please read the rules at the bottom. All questions and answered by myself at the 19.30 mumble time.

6. Civilians in cars must obey the traffic laws
this will be a problem. according to http://www.iraqcoalition.org/regulation ... nnex_A.pdf Section 13 Safety Standards all cars must be equiped with a windshield and a horn, civilian cars in PR dont have either.

other than that it sounds fun :p

I am going to run Tahir's Taxi Service?. I obtained my driver's license by bribing the local policemen. I know no laws except that I have a car and metal is harder than flesh.

Do we need to register somewhere? Like on PRTA forums? Or just be on mumble at the time? Thanks.

I am looking forward to this event, it will be nice too have some change in the gameplay
one thing you guys should think about is a common mumble local speech for both teams, it would certainly add too the fun and the realism of engagements and interactions between civis and bluefor... etc

Looking forward to it too! but i would add a rule
1.there should be 30-40 civis on the insurgent team for more realism and difficulty balance

Question:

What if say two INS guys were in a car. Both of them are in their normal (as in not hanging out the window) seats and acting normal. However one or both of them is one of the "armed" classes. Would BLUFOR be allowed to shoot them if they got close? If not what would happen if the armed one swtiched to a shootable seat and opened, and then the car ran off. Would the BLUFOR be allowed to attack any cars that look like that one (example red car with 2 men in it, one with a red headdress) or would as soon as they lose the car the INS guys are home free?

I think, that they should be allowed to destroy any fast approaching vehicles, but they should give few alert shoots in the air before.

Regarding that question read the rules if a car is not obaying the traffic laws count it as suspision if u have question ask your SL who will pass it up the chain to give you clearence if that all makes sesen. (sorry about bad spelling on my phone) If you want to play get in said mumble at said time :)
