Well when i die it doesn't say wounded it says dead and i don't know if this next part is to add realism but 6000 seconds seems a little to long. oh also i tried every kit, both armies and every spawn point. It still didn't work . So can anyone help?

Oh also i have PR .973 and i reinstalled the mod.

Hi. This is a feature (true story) which prevents the accidental spawning in the wrong location. Press the deploy button when in the spawn screen. This topic and others are covered in the manual to.

i couldnt find it in the manual and i tried all the spawn points already .ok one more question. where are all the servers? i logged onto my multiplayer account and click on the server list, clicked refresh, and there were no servers

Thats a bug with the steam version of Battlefield 2. Its easily fixable though.

- Click circle of spawn point you want to spawn on
- Click "Done"

I know you said you tried every kit, but to add to what Psyrus just said:

If you're not in a squad, or have less than 2 people you can only choose Rifleman Optics, or Rifleman Irons.
If you're in a squad with more than 4 people you can choose any kit except Office (provided someone doesn't have that kit selected already).
If you're the squadleader of a squad with more than 2 people, you can select the Officer Kit in conjunction with any other kit.

Considering he subsequently said he can't see any multiplayer servers, I'm assuming he is playing single player [coop], where you can select any kit?

But yeah, Xavo's advice will hold true when you manage to figure out how to fix the multiplayer servers issue.

When you want to spawn in you have to actually CLICK the "Done" button with your cursor, located bottom right of map.
You can no longer just press Enter because, like Noddy said, it's there to prevent accidental spawning.

i know how to respawn on bf2 i have owned the game for 4 years and i have had lots of expirience with PR. this is a new problem i have had with the new version. .957 pr worked perfectly but right when i updated it everything went downhill and for the 3rd time i have tried every kit and every spawn point and every squad . there is still a 6000 second respawn time . im guessing its a problem with the mod files . but i may be wrong and again i will say i have the retail version of bf2, not steam.

Are you pressing "Enter" to respawn?

You need to literally press "DONE" in the spawn screen, like it says on the on-screen message. Pressing enter, like you would in v0.957 and BF2, will NOT work.

If you're still having a problem, record a video of you replicating the steps, and we can go from there...

i press done i will make a video for you guys anyways though

wow i tried to get the video of the problem and it started working its kinda weird but i like that it works lol. but i am still having the no server problem. im ready to play multiplayer so help lol. or maybe it will miracuously start working by itself to

Try making a video of there being no PR servers, maybe that'll fix it.

I also moved your thread to the support section, your problems are technically no PR bugs.

i don't have the steam version of bf2 but i will try it . and it that doesn't work ill get a video for you psyrus

What type of firewall do you have? AV/IS? Please say make and model of your router too.

Are you able to join MP games in vBF2? Try that for a start and then well see whats up with PR.

While youre in vanilla BF2 check your filters and remove them all if any.

I have the regular windows vista firewall but i turned it off and let my ant virus take care of it which is Comodo anti virus. i have a linksy's 2.4 ghz. and my bf2 vanilla servers will always show up. its just i can't join certain servers cause well i'm a modder i've added certain files that i can fix with a repatch of vanilla bf2 or just delete the files, the files are only texture files though so it shouldnt effect any other mods. and also other multiplayer mods work such as FH2.
