PROFIT???

FYI Don't do it if your annoying other people, youll just get kicked from the server and mumble for spam.

And possibly server might flag you as spammer and mute you, or in worse scenario ban you for some time.

I remember a couple days ago I was on TG, the map was Fools Road, a squad was in a Land Rover and they were blasting Mexican music screaming "arriba" and my entire squad busted up laughing, it was only the beginning while I had my squad digging the FOB. It was EPIC!

This.
They told us this didn't happen, and that it wasn't possible, and couldn't be a problem. We're just imagining things!

No, I'm pretty sure we said admins will deal with that quickly, mat. No need to start making things up just because you don't like mumble.

Theres nothing wrong with a little music. There's nothing quite like being flew to an LZ in a Huey while your squad leader is using his mic to play "Surfin' Bird." It's awesome.

It's only annoying if its like those videos that have anything by 009 Sound System on Youtube. They are awful... Or "Friday", or "Justin Bieber". Those would suck too, anything thats trolling. Otherwise, I don't know what anyone could be mad about.

I believe you need some kind of setting for your sound-card in order to play music directly through Mumble.

I know at least two people that use this Virtual Audio Cable software (VAC). To the extent of my knowledge, it essentially allows you to have two mics, however they set up the software so it plays their Itunes or mp3 playlists.

Virtual Audio Cable Home Page

Word of warning, I know at least 1 person that received Mumble problems from using this software. Also, with great power comes great responsibility :D . Don't constantly annoy people with music being played over mumble ;-) .

Heh, I doubt he'll figure it out without some sort of a tutorial. Took me a while, but I got it to work fine. And it took me even longer to get the "trial" voice to stop spamming through when playing music. It's more effort than it's worth. Don't bother, likely chance you can get banned from Mumble if you don't control yourself when using it.

Edit: It isn't possible to play music and talk through the mic at the same time without hearing echo. Just the way it is unless you have another sound card.

Some music here and there , just to brighten up the mood is welcome. COnstantly spammin music, or comms is irritating.

Oh no, I figured it out shortly after I had the problems, but the problems were definitely legitimate lol. I try to use it only by request, or when the moment is right. Playing music in jeeps is prob the best.

But as far as I know, there are only two other people who know how to play it directly through their computer using VAC.
