Done usual stuff? Clearing shaders, defragging, disabling AV/IS software? Any change hardware or driver related lately, networking? Hows your ping....Wifi...with mumble on or off?

Background processes, virus scanners, p2p programs, overlays...check all those. But me thinks its either shaders or hard drive. Dont let that distract you check all of the above.

PS: Ako ti je ovo Aprilili nije neki :-P

PPS: Is you PR installed on SSD maybe?

nije

yes ive done it, and its happening in lan, where i tested it,
not on an SSD, done the things which make sense except reinstall, i guess i should do that

it happens only in PR, not vbf2 not arma, not any other game

I had stuttering problem quite recently similar to yours. I had to clear the shaders cache, and turn off AA and lower few things to medium to make it go away. I dont know why this happens, but in time it seems like it just screw itself up. If that doesn't help do a reinstall.

yeah i did it it seems to be gone, in fraps the frame rate drops for 2 frames in equal intervals still, but at least i cant see it anymore, i guess ill try turning off AA see if its that

the problem is i tested the game on all low and it was still doing it (except for aa) so i guess thats the only thing left

Have you updated your NVIDIA drivers recently?

Just a thought if you did, download older drivers, completely uninstall the current drivers, uninstall the nvidia 570 and any "default VGA" device in device manager, reboot, then reinstall older drivers.

I'm having what seems to be a similar problem, fps sits at ~70 but drops to ~16 for a few seconds every half minute or so. I'm running windows 7 on an Alienware M14x, gfx card is a GT555M

did you try the fixes posted above?

also fps can drop down when you enter high density areas

It seems possible, I've installed Throttlestop and disabled turbo boost with mixed results so far.

You can download and run this to test:
Intel Turbo Boost Monitor 2.0
http://downloadcenter.intel.com/Detail_ ... ldID=19105

I'm also guessing toward a TurboBosst issue.

Well that program claims it cannot install because I don't have a CPU supporting turbo boost, despite the fact that Intel's website says the i5-2410M has turbo boost 2.0.

Might that be your problem with this app?
