Towards the end, I was taxi'd inland by a huey and i got out and found a full squad of vietcong
went to shoot with my m16 and it was on semi fire :C

what the fuck? i just installed it

ummmmmmmmmmmm


and in the dl section there is no mumble 1.0, so maybe the installer need to me fixed for vietnam?

Played a bit tonight... geez its a CF with 200 players, rounds end pretty quick. Was fun though watching huey's tipping into trees, and plane making a wrong turn on runway, stuck to the round end.
Id say 64 for optimal gameplay of PR:V

Tk's are a big issue on the big servers, no nametags and a higher percentage of less careful players = much annoyance. Thought Rhino could spot skins though.....

Just sat in a center-of-map US firebase on Battle of Ia Drang 128. For twenty five minutes, with 20 men, 10 foxholes and 2 HMG's, returning fire from all directions. Constant supply runs, constant medic calls, constant MG fire.

Holy cow.

Herding cats in my 12 man squad on the 128 was fun for the 12 hours or more I was there, but I think I've had enough Vietnam for a year now.

My US squad got ambushed in la Drang and only I was left, I hid in a bush, killed 5 VC with quick 2-shots from the awesome M14, they started spamming my bush with grenades and DP fire, one of them ran in, sprayed him with auto then ran out of ammo, ran into another bush, patched and reloaded, ran back to the other, killed 2 more and then finally another VC squad rushed the bush with 4 guys and got me.

There's M60's on everything on the US side lol - on trucks, apc's, choppers and even INF haha

with 200 people it was just a meat grinder like metro on bf3. smoke everywhere, people disorientated by their FPS drop, and the people who decide to put on 200 always ignore the multitudes complaining about it.

Other than that, it was awesome. Huey landing was pro. We should play test the heck out of it.

A great job, but there are not servers running the normal PR anymore, it's not even balanced between a PR map and a Vietnam one, it's all viet maps in a row on every server, which is a bit restrictive for people who would like to play some real PR. Do we really need 10 servers on PR:V like there currently is?

Still a good job, but I feel a bit sad on this point
