i use a x-fi Titanium pro. I used to have BSOD issue. But I fixed it after I read this thread
https://www.realitymod.com/forum/f27-pr-bf2-support/107105-xp-vista-7-soundblaster-x-fi-bluescreen-fix.html
But I have this problem back after Vietnam installed. by the way, I set sound to High not Ultra high.
so , does anyone else have the same prob?
any suggestion would be appreciated.

Just a quick note.
If you get BSOD again after you reapply this, post back here and we will see whats it all about.
Also note on what map it happens, and what were you doing when it happened.
Its unlikely that PR:V installer will do anything to your drivers, so I dont believe that this is the root cause of it.

Thx, dude. Here is the latest situation. I have played several online games with Vietnam map, and it works perfectly.
It seems the BSOD problem happens only when I create a local game. And it happened to PR Normandy when I tried to do the same thing, too.
So I guess it might do something with local game. Well, since I create local game just to get familiar with new maps, it doesn't matter anymore.

I was told there was a small mistake in the PR:V installer and it overwrote the fix for the X-FI card when initiating a local server. The next patch for PR:V will not cause this problem , however I am not sure if it will fix the problem for anyone who has a X-Fi and tried to start a local server since the public launch.
