Hey guys, my brother and I just got the new vietnam maps and such. Mine works great but his seems to have broken his PR. Now in any map, even the ones already there, if he joins a squad he gets massive lag. If he is not in a squad he is fine. The install file was ok because we both used the same one.


So far we have tried un-installing vietnam but no luck there, even after that his remaining PR games had the same problem. Re-installing did not help either. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks.

To start, reinstallPR:V then defrag the hard drive.
MIght be simply a fragmented file that controls Squad stuff.

Ok, that fixed the lag problem! It did not fix a problem I forgot to mention in my first post. He can play all of the vietnam maps but the main one(I can't remember the name but its the one with 4 variants). When loading that one the game just closes about halfway through the loading process. Any idea what that may be?

The crashing on Ia Drang (I assume thats the map you are talking about) is a known bug and needs a client side fix. You will have to wait until the next beta version gets released (which shouldn't take that long).

Yeah that's the one. I was thinking that map might have some bugs in it, it's nice to get a confirmation on that. Thanks for all your help guys!
