Just recently I started getting this error for no apparent reason. I have searched high and low for answers and found some, I even tried a few things but nothing has worked. I have windows 7 Home Premium Edition and AVG free as my security system.

AVG might pickup some of the game files, so check its quarantine to see if there is any and restore them.

MD5 error is mismatch between game files on your system and ones on server, so if you get this often you will have to reinstall the game.

Somewhat similar problem here. On what file do you get mismatch/kick?

If you delete or tamper with the intro movies this can happen. Have you?

You can open your init.con file and make sure it reads exactly as below. If not, copy below and paste into your init.con and save the file.
bf2Engine.playMovie Movies/bss_intro.bik 1
bf2Engine.playMovie Movies/PR_intro.bik 1
Test and let us know.

Hes got kick on mods/bf2/init.con and mine says this
rem ** gameLogic hasn't been initialized yet **

rem *** These should be noops in server & editor
bf2Engine.playMovie Movies\EA.bik 1
bf2Engine.playMovie Movies\dice.bik 1
bf2Engine.playMovie Movies\legal.bik 1
bf2Engine.playMovie Movies\intro.bik 0
bf2Engine.playMovie Movies\welcome.bik 0
Changing text there wont help if MD5 differs, so he will need original file I guess. Download this in attachment, and extract it to Battlefield 2>mods>bf2. Overwrite if it asks.

Postback results.

Reinstall PR imo, get the original files all in place :)

I dont know what you have done but your game files are altered, thats why you are being kicked. We can replace this file too, but sooner or later another will come to its place. I think you should reinstall BF2 and PR freshly and then nothing to worry about.

Here you go. Extract in mods/pr and overwrite, and do not tamper with it.
