Must use pr.exe to play Project Reality

Just installed BF2 and PR and for some reason, when I try to log in to PR, it tells me I must launch from the proper .exe. I have checked the shortcuts and they are fine. I can log in and play vanilla without issue. I tried multiple times to delete the BF2 folder in documents. Any ideas?
