I post here for two reasons.

1. Many SL's are still not aware of this bug that means squad 8 can't hear other squads when trying to communicate direct via numpad. But other sqauds can hear Sq8 on direct/numpad I believe?

2. Any hope of a bug fix for this at some point?

Squad 8 can talk directly to any squad, but other squads need to use the "all-SL" comms in order to talk to squad 8. This is a known bug, and I'm sure they're trying to fix it.

Aye this is why squad 8 should always be CAS or something important, so when we actually have to communicate, its not retardedly stopping everyone from understanding whats going on.

Im kinda wondering what could cause that bug. I should think that its a keybinding issue that in theory could be easily fixed, but its not worth it to publish a new mumble fix before PR 0.98.

Im just thinking out loudly here, I have no real information.

It would need everyone to update the client for a minor mistake witch can be worked around with the allchat. Figuring 90% of the players never squadlead it could split the commuity and its not really worth the download. It also has the possibility of introducing new bugs.

Even though you might have some kind of point there, Strepto, I too would like to see a fix for that sooner than later. If it would be possible to make it auto update (to prevent community splitting like you mentioned) would be awesome!

I'd like an early update too. I would instantly use that. And after some time people would realize that there is a new mumble out there.
