Ramiel and Qwai

Somebody said that its time to voice our opinions since maps are getting revised.
Those two are severely lacking quality in terms of details. Ive seen some threads about updating Qwai some time ago, dont know what happened? But ok, its an old map, gameplay itself is good but its not it.
Ramiel. By far the worst looking map in my eyes. Terrain has no grass, the city is flat with only a grid mesh of streets and buildings lined up between. It has decent amount of object detail but compared to other urban maps its ugly. It gives me the impression that im playing on a set up field, unlike Fallujah, where it feels like the real thing.

Re Ramiel, I'd agree on the undergrowth front, though the rest is fine imo since not all cities are like Fallujah with pavements etc, some are literally houses plonked on a dirt road

Maybe ugly, but Ramiel is pretty decent when it comes to gameplay. Way better than Karbala or Fallujah.
When it comes to Qwai, I dunno why but this map since some time is just bad. Especially making US base in such bad position that after beginning there is usually rage and whining on server, cause its exit and road to it is visible from most objectives close to North Bridge. This kills some immersion and is bad for gameplay.
Also the grass on Qwai is pain in the ***, because it doesn't render for people on low settings so they can see through it. :/
BTW is there point in making one topic for two different maps? I think we already have Qwai feedback thread as well...

Fix the asset imbalance and Qwai will be fine. The tank was removed in .8 so god knows why it was reinstated. The whopping 9 Chinese APC's means that 18 people can rush the US side at the start of the round, sacrificing the smaller VN3's whilst the rest of the WZ551's kill the Bradley, blunting the US spearhead entirely. I talk from experience using this strategy. That and add three flags in play, not two. When its literally Estate and Mining Facility the game gets stale fast.
As for Ramiel the map itself has reached its pinnacle. Nothing about it can be improved other than more cache locations, which all Insurgency maps need. Marlin is the only example of perfected Insurgency with its huge amount of potential locations.

I honestly believe that there is nothing wrong with ramiel. Although I agree with Dtacs that more cache locations could be a nice addition. A visual update is always nice but is not needed. Qwai could use some balance. But I don't see the point to start a thread about qwai and ramiel, as stated above we have feedback threads for maps. And I can think of maps who need a lot more work then qwai and ramiel.

The east city is kinda barren, the west is fine.
Not really worthy of updating, it plays fine.
