Hi all,

I'm thinking of returning to PR, but there's one major thing stopping me...

My microphone does not pick anything up in-game, or in 'Mic Test' within the Audio Options in PR, and even when I load 'BF2VoiceSetup.exe' from the BF2 folder, the slider doesn't budge at all.

I have the latest version of PR, and have selected my headset microphone to be my default/selected recording device within my Sound panel.

My microphone is working on TeamSpeak 3 as we speak, and works fine in ArmA2. It simply won't register for Battlefield.

My headset is a Microsoft LifeChat LX-3000 which I have used for PR previously over the last 3-4 years without issue.

Any ideas?

SOLUTION: It's pretty simple actually, though I can't understand the logic... Load Vanilla BF2, and use 'Mic Test' in there. It seems to 'restart' the mic gain and started picking it up. I then loaded PR and it worked in Mic Test there, and in a server. It still doesn't register in BF2VoiceSetup.exe though, but whatever!
