I've just downloaded BF2 and the the whole PR 0.96 with Desura, but when i click launch the PR loading screen appears but closes shortly afterwards, and no error message occure. I've had the same problem with another computer, and i remember something about deleting og changeing pr.exe or something like that. I've tried running it as admin, but no result.

Launch BF2 vanilla once and just exit it again after the first menu. That should do the trick

BF2 vanilla, what does that mean?

The standard version of BF2 is called vanilla.

Also try running the game in windowed mode to see if any errors are returned

At least that means not "BF2 chocolate"... xD

Maybe downloading using "Desura" was not such a good idea and causes trouble, I think sb. once had problems caused by that program...
Maybe it's your resolution, could be too...

this problem has occured before but without the error message its hard to tell what problem you have

one of the most common fixes is to

1go to my documents and delete the BF2 folder
2 launch BF2 (vanilla) then close after creating the profile
3 launch PR
4 play
