Please populate other servers instead of going on auto-deploy for an hour. Even having a few people in a server starts to attract more.

I'm not sure if this occurs worldwide, but this tends to happen often enough on servers I play on.

I don't understand, how would you know many people use auto-deploy on the full servers?

People use auto-deploy when they are joining their buddies that already play on a server. Which makes sense. If it happens that all of us start playing at the same time, we obviously pick a non-full server to push our squad in at once. But sometimes just a team of two or three starts and the others join hours later, and by then the server might well be full already.

I've noticed this a lot on the CIA server lately, I love the server so I do auto deploy for a bit but lately it takes so much longer since there are so many people trying to join up :/

Well, I know that problem too, it's when a clan (or a bunch op players, ~ 10 for example) want to join a good server, and sb. decides to join a quite full one (55/64 for example), in the meantime while those 10 players are joining, other public players are joining too, or even other clans... -.-
So ALWAYS the best decision is, with several players, to join a quite empty/quite NOT so populated server, or even seed your own clanserver (IF you have one, OTHERWISE seed another GOOD (!!! meaning a european one (good ping), stable, good admins, ran be a clan/community) server.

Maybe its because the CIA server is popular among American players. But yeah I see the problem, there is about one popular American server, because nobody deploys to other servers. Check out TG or something.

I won't deny your request for information on how I've seen this happening; Howbeit, I believe the OP targets those who have experienced this situation without needing said info.

Not only have I done this myself, lacking a secondary populated server, but have had others comment on how hard a server can be to join once it's full. Once properly frustrated, I'd move to a second server of choice and wait around hoping others would join, usually to no avail.

This is not limited to auto-deploy. :3

Damn! Each time I get up early, TG is full.
Then after an hour, it's empty!
But when I get up late, TG remain nobody inside!

It's appearce I should get up 3 o'clock in the morning then I have a chance.

I've been computer broken for a while, and I've now just gotten back into playing PR, but I can't play much because all the damn American servers are gone! The only good ones are CIA and HOG 24/7 Muttrah, and I can never get into CIA because I'm always playing with a friend and we can never get in at the same time (and constantly playing Muttrah gets a little stale).

More American servers I say! No offense to PRTA, NWA,and the Ukrainian, Russian and Chinese servers, but whenever I get to play, your servers are ALWAYS empty (and in the case of those last 3, 300 ping at least).

Try to play at nigthtime when it's day in "Ukrainian, Russian and Chinese servers"

Help seed the TG servers. Vets used to play there and they had good gameplay.

thats really derp. Obviously people hang on auto to get onto popular servers. thats why they are popular.

THe OP is right. other servers dont get enough facetime dispite the fact that they are up and running and only a handful out of maybe 100 are locked or running mod maps.

A "join random server" button might work for some.

I play this game for fun. I have more fun playing immediately in a populated match as opposed to seeing a server for hours waiting.

Playing a video game should never be a chore.

He means take some initiative to get it filled and join when it has low players. As it's proven in the past months it's not going to fill itself like it used to.

I sometimes join not-so-populated, but im rarely joining servers with 10-15... Unless its 128 or player numbers are sising after serv crash/restart.

Jolly, how about joining your own chinese Server? o_O
