Can soundmod be used in local server?

yes it can. Enable to soundmod before starting PR , join a local server and you will have soundmod.

I'm afraid it is because of the password and the soundmod.
People think that they need to install it to get into the server and they DO NOT NEED SOUNDMOD TO PLAY ON A SOUNDMOD SERVER!!!

I had sound mod ENABLED the last few times I've been on the CIA server and haven't been kicked after playing full maps, did they stop the MD5 checks or what?

No, all of our MD5 checks should be in place to disallow that. I asked one of my members yesterday if they were using SoundMod, and they said they were and that they were kicked for it.
But I have seen many others claim what you have and what my member has. I don't know what the problem is or how to fix it.

I enjoy using the sound mod although there are some original sounds I still enjoy, but the SM does make it more intense so glad i've had a few good games on there with it on.

md5 does work, don't worry ace. It just takes a lot of time until it kicks. For example on 128 Servers it can take multiple hours until you get kicked. But on an average server it takes about 30 minutes.

Like ace said, go to
sm.prta.co. Anders (the developer of the soundmod) will now work closely with the PR-team to help the with their sounds. So expect maybe some of his work in 1.0 yes. But that's all I can say. The current servers to support soundmod are PRTA and maybe NEW in the future.
