Your connect to the server has been lost

Hey,
2 weeks ago this message appeared whenever I tried to connect to a server for the first time since I launched the client. The second attempt was okay and could connect to the server.
Today I made a fresh reinstall of BF2 + PR (also cleaned the registry files) and tried again... the same problem.
I launch the client, I try to connect to -any- server and I get that error message in the title. But when I try again (on any other server) I can connect without any problem. So, this annoying bug or whatever it is, it's causing me to lose some slots whever I try to connect to a desired server.
Please help me out.
