sometimes when i play as a medic i can't revive my teammates, its just sometimes. i read that you have to Resurrect first but even after performing CPR and then giving them a shot it doesn't work.

CPR is for moving players if they get stuck

but sometimes you cant unstuck them which doesn't allow for revives at times

There are several tricks to reviving those stuck/badly positioned players, but in the end it usually boils down to some variation of dropping a patch on them/resuscitating them. Sometimes it's a matter of persistence, other times it's hitting them in the right place.

And don't tell my clan-mates, but I find that the pelvis/groin area is the most consistently effective area to jab the epipen.

Get 'em up!

I often switch between the neck and the upper thigh. Might just be chance, but when one doesn't work the other almost always does. ...

Bodies also glitch at times, so you might have to just stab the kit which works 99.9% of the time.

I remember seeing a really great thread on tactics for a medic. I'll look around and see if I can find it. It was either here or on Tactical Gamers forum.

We do read these forums once in a while... : p

I find that sometimes stabbing the legs or arms seems to work if nothing else does.

CPR can handle most cases.
However sometimes you should not revive their bodies but their kits.....or do some CPR on their kit instead of their bodies. :p
Am I clear? LOL

thx for all of the replies. I was also wondering if there was a specif procedure to get them back up. Do ihave to revive the kit or body.

Normally the body. Sometimes the body appears to be in a different position to you than it actually is (the server "remembers" the body to be near the kit bag, while on your computer, physics moved it away from it). If hitting the body with the epipens (aim for the butt/groin, it's simply center of mass) doesn't work, then try the kit, because that's where the body might actually be. It mostly works.

No 100% surefire way of doing it, though. That stuff is a wee bit glitchy at times...

As some guys said "reviving" the kit is the best idea, remember that 80% where the kit is, is the body of the critically wounded mate, as spec said sometimes the body seems to slide through the ground but actually it is next to the kit, so try to do come CPR to the kit and you will find that the body appears in front of you, just like magic. Sometimes the body isn't next to the kit because he was killed on a roof and the body fell so, if you have a mic or can write ask him if he sees you right on top of him if he sees you there is where the body is, then do some CPR and then start reviving. Of course try all of this, if directly hitting him (wounded body) with the epipen does not work, and remember don't waste too many epipens, if you are low on epipens call for ammo, you are the key to keep your squad/teammates alive.

Sometimes the body glitches or get stuck in a wall or in a ladder, there is almost impossible to revive them, don't waste epipens on them, just use the CPR if the body gets out of the ladder/wall or whatever, then you can try reviving him, remember not to waste too many epipens.

Hope to have helped you. :)

That about sums it up.

You could always try picking up the kit and putting it on the body then picking up your own kit to revive. This works for me when they have slid down a hill.

I like the mouse trick, never done a full test on it but the number of times a player who has been hard to revive has poped back to life using the spin your mouse on your pad trick is enough proof i need.

When I play medic i'll say to the dude im revivng "spin your mouse", esp if there stuck in a door way or narrow ally/corridor. It seams to detatch the player model from the thing there stuck in right on the point of revive, due to the mouse movement or input to the player model.

Whether its trun or not I think it works, so if you get revive by a guy saying spin your mouse, say Hi Orford.

Means the avatar texture isn't stuck and is actually colliding with the ground/object mesh (amateur assumption :-P ).

It is ture, I'd like to keep the body 'move' when on stairs or somewhere not flat.

But, I have such a experience and I dunno whether is a Psychological illusion:
Bodies with a ''empty health bar'' is much easier to revive. :-D
(Sorry for my poor English, I dont know if "empty health bar" can best describe it.:confused :)

Yep, it takes practice but there should be virtually no cases when a critically wounded friendly can't be revived given a few attempts. See the youtube links in my signature for a complete description.

Cheers, Murkey.

p.s. I always aim for the ***/ balls :p
