Started playing Pr in 2008 until 2011. Just recently came back.

I was used to seeing many servers full all the time.

Now I return this week to PR and theres 3 servers with pop.

I join one and dont have mumble turned on, all squad leaders automatically kick.

Forcing a MOD onto another MOD has created this downfall.

Only solution, Dont enforce mumble like your fucken nazis

Jesus christ would understand.

You're telling that a small software is making PR die? I say what is making PR die, DAYZ, BF3, these are the reasons, people stopped playing PR, a Mod for a game with old graphics, there is PR:ArmA 2, but the Cancer for this one is the DayZ plus the ACE experience.

PR is dying because it's old, try to stay alive until you make 150 years, the lifetime for a game like PR is very short, and it's starting to fall, maybe, it will get up again, who knows.

Mumble is used to turn the gameplay better, I will suggest you to check the Dbzao's YouTube channel, when on there, search for "Combined Assault" you'll see what Mumble is making.

Mumble makes the game real and awesome, sqls have their right to choose his men.
PR needs communication! mumble enhanced it!

I do think mumble shouldn't be forced on people. The population isn't big enough to scare away new players who are reluctant to try mumble. If people start to enjoy the game, they'll get mumble.

Mumble enhances PR, it should be adopted by the players, not forced on them.

This isn't a religious website, game & this isn't Americas Army where you see Christians trying to validate murder as being ok but swearing isn't. Problem?



It's going to be included in some form in 1.0 to reduce said problem, till then there is HOG & some other servers that aren't mumble happy & heavy handedly enforcing it.


Didn't like mumble at first, kind of do now. Still not exactly happy because people still refuse t9 utilize it properly or at all, but that's life. Just play on Muttrah is my suggestion if you're not a mumble fan or install it. It's not going to kill your PC or anything.

I honestly can't wrap my head around people not wanting to use mumble. It increases the enjoyment of the game by so much. I think the real problem with PR is that there aren't enough top-quality servers since on the weekends all the goods one are full unless you can sort something out on TS or you've got a reserved slot.

All you anti-mumblers need to just go on HOG or any other server that doesn't enforce it.

PLEASE, do not join servers that most people play on with mumble, it just drains the fun and you'll just be a pain in the *** to communicate with. This type of attituide will be pointed out as the supposed "downfall" of PR, but honestly, the people who don't use PR are.

If you can't install it because you just flat out refuse to "listen" to people, don't play PR simple as that, you just kill the enjoyment of others. PR is a teamwork game, mumble increases this, and if you can't deal with it, peace out?

If you have technical issues, I'm fairly sure any technical problem can be fixed if you consult the tech support board.

If you don't like the annoying (foreign) voices you here, well that's a shame, because at the end of the day every PR player plays PR for teamwork, and regardless of your opinions of ones voice, deal with it.

Don't bring us back the stone age.

Good rant. misguided on these forums however as the Developers of the mod have limited control over how servers are run... and definitely have not interest in control over individual rules.

TL;DR - tell somebody who gives a toss if you come here with that attitude.
