but I'll ask it anyway. Can I and a friend play this awesome mod using the same bf2 cd key? He is highly interested in the game but doesnt have bf2 himself, nor can he afford a copy at the moment. While I do expect a big fat "No ya dumbass", I also look for a glimmer of hope that the mod doesn't need the original game to have seperate cd keys.

You're right. AFAIK, your friend needs an original cd key.

Need original cd-key. You can get BF 2 only for few quid @origin I guess.

You guys can both play with the same cd-key... just not at the same time

And you will still be able to play vs bots and I believe Coop if I'm not mistaken, at least that's how I started playing this mod
