How do I go about reinstalling directX 11? My computer says I have directX 11 installed when I look up the properties, but when I try to start a directx11 or even directX 10 game there is always stuff missing in the libraries.
How do I reinstall it? I tried the microsoft windows site, but I only found a download of 9.0 and an update for Vista.
I have Windows 7 64 bit.

Try the top link there, assuming you've tried re-installing the game and/or checking the games CD to see if it has a separate directX install file (many games nowadays have directX install files on the disk, but the site I linked should be the same).
Although tbh this shouldn't be the cause of the problem, really, might be outdated drivers or bad installations of the games.
What DLL seems to be missing? and is it the same for eac DX11 game? and what games are these? Also what GPU do you have

? anything pre 4xx series from Nvidia are not DX11 capable, and not sure with ATI, but going to assume anything pre 4xxx series or possibly pre 5xxx

It happens in older games it seems. I installed the missing DLLs, but monkey Island special edition and mass effect wont boot up anyway. Battlefield2 seems to work and so does Warhammer Space Marine.
I assume it has something to do with direct x 9. I tried to install the legacy files for direct x 9, that are avaiable on the microsoft site, but it wont let me do that.
